Routine eye exams play the most important part in preventative health care. Most patients don’t come in to have an eye exam until after they begin experiencing issues and noticing symptoms. At this point it may be too late for treatment. Not all diseases and issues present obvious symptoms or signs.

Early diagnosis and treatment of eye problems are important for maintaining good vision, and at times, preventing vision loss.

​At Waco Custom LASIK & Cataract Center, we utilize a variety of tests to confirm the health of our patients’ eyes. The tests include eye chart exams, glasses and contact lens fitting, intraocular measurements, and evaluation with specialized microscopes. We also check for symptoms of potentially dangerous eye conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts. Our job is to correct vision problems and to safeguard against potential problems before they actually occur.
